Hi all, Scott here. Things are progressive really well with our Troon 2016 listings. We have seen around 25% of properties being let prior to actually advertising then online, and this continues to rise.
Below is an update on the some of the things that has been happening.
These are now live on our brand new website. We have also listed them on other commercial portals but more on this on the next update. More information is being added weekly in regards to the local area and all the good things Ayrshire and Scotland have to offer.
Lots more listings are ready to go live as soon as we have the new marketing photos.
As well as advertising, we are busy doing lots of other stuff as well to ensure maximum exposure.
- Social media – This week see the launch of our social media campaigns on Facebook and Twitter to spread the word.
- Links with other companies – Lot of great joint ventures happening locally and all over the country to drive in the leads.
- Proactive marketing – We now have a staff member who will be directly contacting companies and organisations all over the world to let them know about our accommodation. These calls and email have already paid off with some really great contacts who are using us to source their accommodation.
Google Adwords & Remarketing / Facebook ads
Lots of online marketing wizardry happening behind the scenes to ensure people not only see your property, but get reminded about it where ever they go online afterwards.
This all works away in the background 24/7.
Added value services
We really do try to look after the tenants during their stay and one of the ways of doing this is to offer them a lot of support when it comes to other activities to do that isn’t directly associated with the Troon Open. A short list of what we have arrange highlights this:
- Trips and tours
- Concierge services
- Golf rounds and training
- Cleaners and laundry
- Investment tours of Ayrshire
The more we can offer tenants, the more likely they will be to rent through Homesure so we hope these services really help our landlords.
