Why change letting agents?
Agent changeovers are always done for a reason - usually because the landlord is unhappy with the service provided by their current letting agent. The most common reasons we find landlords have as a reason to change are:
- Lack of communication
- Unfulfilled promised
- Prolonged void periods
- Consistent bad tenants
- Not chasing arrears
- Lack of inspections and maintenance
Whatever the reason, it is often perceived that changing agents may be too much hassle to be worth the time and effort involved. Often, it can be an uncomfortable situation for the landlord to communicate with their existing agent that they are not happy with the level of service they are currently receiving. Nevertheless it is always worthwhile getting a fresh start with a new agent. And with Homesure's changeover process, it only requires a few signatures.
